Solid slippers
Very comfortable and easy to slip on and off. I’ve been using these mostly around the house and for quick trips outside, and they’ve held up well so far. The footbed is soft but still feels supportive. Sizing felt just a tiny bit short, but not enough to be a problem. The black color is smooth and it’s comfortable for my feet. Overall, solid everyday slides without anything fancy.

Favorite Pair of Adidas Slides
Ordered these Adidas slippers since I have another pair in another color. These Adidas slides are comfortable and are great to use around the house or in and out of the shower or pool. Definitely a great pair to use daily and I’ll probably purchase more since they’re easy to slip on and off.

I recently purchased the Adidas Adilette Shower Slides for my post-gym workouts and for general use around the house, and I’m really happy with them overall.The first thing I noticed is how durable and well-made they feel. The material is perfect for getting wet—they dry super fast and I don’t have to worry about them getting ruined. The contoured footbed is comfortable and provides good support, especially compared to a lot of flimsy flip-flops out there.The classic 3-stripe design looks great and the all-black color is very versatile.My one piece of advice is regarding the sizing. I normally wear a size 10, but I had to exchange them for a size 11 as the 10s were a bit too snug and felt a little narrow, especially with the top band. The size 11s fit perfectly. So, if you’re in between sizes or have a wider foot, I would definitely recommend sizing up.Overall, this is a solid, no-frills slide that is perfect for its intended purpose. I would recommend them, just be aware of the sizing issue.

Relevant backstory: I’ve been living with plantar fasciitis for the last few years. Once it gets really bad, PF takes a loooooong time to get over, especially if you work on your feet. About 6 months in I was cajoled into custom orthotics, which were very expensive and provided only a little bit of relief along with several new kinds of discomfort. (It was definitely better to have them than to not have them, but I don’t think it was several hundred dollars better.) I’ve also worn all kinds of orthotic work shoes, which do help, kinda. Basically, I’ve been through the wringer with foot pain, tried a lot of shoe inserts, the works. Even after quitting retail, I lived in squishy recovery sandals daily for a few years. I am now finally at the point where I mostly don’t have foot pain unless I really overdo it or walk around on hard floors barefoot, so I wanted some easy-to-wear slides for around the house that were not squishy (wearing smooshy recovery sandals daily isn’t great for your back, or your knees, or your balance, it turns out).It turns out these relatively inexpensive, casual shower slides have the best arch support I have ever experienced in my LIFE. It’s probably partly luck– I’m the person that the mass-produced thing actually fits perfectly for once. But my mom tried them on too (we’re basically the same shoe size) and was immediately impressed by the supportive sole.The band seemed a little tight at first, but I’ve been getting used to it. I thought I was going to get blisters, but none so far! I’ve been wearing them for a few days now and it’s felt a little better every day. If you are a plantar fasciitis sufferer, they’re worth trying out. I wish I’d had these years ago!

Comfortable, Until they Betray You
These foam slides are comfortable, the size is right, and at first glance they seem totally fine. Then you start walking and the front part folds under your toes like a trap set by Satan himself. I am talking full toe-stubbing, life-flashing-before-your-eyes pain. The kind of pain that makes you want to rip the shoes off your feet and throw them across the room.They need a little more structure so the front does not curl under. A thicker base or some kind of reinforcement would fix the issue. When they behave, they are great for quick errands or wearing around the house. When they pull the flip-under move, it is the worst thing ever. Three stars for comfort, minus two for attempted toe murder.
