Perfect Fall/Winter Jacket for Active Kids
I’m back for round two with this jacket! My son wore his first one constantly until he outgrew it, so that tells you how much we loved it. It’s become our go to jacket for those crisp Minnesota mornings before the real cold hits. The lightweight material is perfect because he can move around freely at the playground without getting too hot, but it still keeps him warm enough when the temperature drops. For the price, you really can’t beat it. We’ll definitely get plenty of use out of it until winter arrives and we need to break out the heavy coat. If your kid is between sizes, I’d recommend sizing up so you get more wear out of it. Also great for packing or stuffing in a backpack as it is super compact.

Lightweight, warm, true to size
The jacket is exactly what it says, lightweight and water resistant. Still surprisingly warm. It also looks really good on skinny kids. Size is accurate, my son is 11 y.o, height 4.9 and size XL looks really good on him, with a bit of room left. I’m not sure it will still fit him next year but it’s absolutely good for this one and leaves just good amount of room for warm sweater if needed, this way it effectively can be a perfect jacket for the next 5-6 months of mild rainy and occasionally cold pacific northwest winter.

Orange more red, but great coat
We bought this jacket to go hunting. Kiddo needed an orange coat to wear when walking in the brush. Unfortunately, the orange color isn’t a bright orange as pictured, but more red. That’s the reason we didn’t give the product 5 stars.Just the right thickness for near freezing temps in the mornings, not too warm when wearing unzipped in the afternoon. Hood stays on better with a beanie under, but that’s not a deal breaker. Wind doesn’t go through, and that’s a plus.
