Beats Apple Watch if Fitness is your focus
I want to evaluate this not compared to anything and compared to the Apple Watch (series 1).Not compared to anything: tracks steps very accurately. I have measured against counting steps and steps recorded by phone and matches within 2 steps every time. Tracks heart rate, calories burned, active minutes, and sleep. You can add your water intake directly on the watch and view your calorie intake on the watch. You can view text messages, view and answer calls, and view other notifications that you normally get to your phone (ex: Ring, MyQ, Amazon). You can choose an exercise on the watch and it keeps track of minutes, pace, and avg BPM. You can hit “relax” and it has a guided breathing segment to calm you. You can set alarms on the watch and view weather as well as the “leaderboard” which is your friends on Fitbit.Compared to Apple Watch (series 1): both track steps, heart rate, calories burned, and active minutes. Steps and heart rate are about the same for both (both seem accurate). Apple Watch definitely is more precise on calories burned (Fitbit is way too high). Active minutes is more precise on Fitbit than Apple Watch (Apple Watch doesn’t give credit for exercise quite often).Pro to an Apple Watch: you can text back. On the Fitbit, you can’t text back yet, but they are working on that feature for androids.Pro to Apple Watch: you can add just about any app that’s on your phone to the watch. With Fitbit, you can only add what’s in the Fitbit OS to the watch. These pros are nice, but not really necessary if your main focus is fitness. The Fitbit is much more in depth and has better long term goals for fitness as it shows you averages directly on the watch.I have my Fitbit face to my Bitmoji and she’s always doing something different every time I look. It’s cute and a good way to stay motivated.Overall, I like the Fitbit Versa (lite) better than the Apple Watch (series 1) for these reasons:It’s lighter in weightIt tracks sleep/sleep patternsThe face has my BitmojiBATTERY LIFE!the Versa lite comes in really pretty colorsIt’s water resistant (Apple Watch series 1 does nothing if there is a speckle of water on it)More fitness geared than smart watch geared

    Best Fitbit I’ve had yet
I actually ordered this by accident. I thought I was ordering one of the other Fitbit products. I like everything about it except that it does not count elevation changes so I don’t have any idea how many flights stairs I am climbing every day. I have never had any other brand of fitness tracker besides Fitbit so I can’t compare, but I have had one fitbit or another for the last 6 years and this is definitely the best one yet.As far as looks, it is a bit bulky, but no more so than similar trackers. It is comfortable and easy to take off and put on.Another thing I like better than my other fitbits is the charger. The last three or four fitbits I had before this one always died after about a year because the charger connection on the tracker would break off and then I couldn’t charge it any more.Another feature I like is the pause button on the timed workout. Most of my workouts are walks and hikes, and with the pause button, I can stop recording when I take a break or stop to visit someone along my route.

Great for a smart watch and fitness tracker
I mostly use it to follow my steps (which it does kind of over count if Im using my hand a lot for something) I also really enjoy the sleep tracking part of it. If I sync it to my phone, it will drain the battery faster so I only do that every so often. Otherwise my fit-bit lasts around 4 days before I need to charge it.On the note of waterproof. I’ve worn it in the shower and I also wore it at a water park. It worked fine and I had no issues. But I would recommend not wearing it all day at a water park if you’ll be underwater a lot of the time. When I looked up what the water distance was, they said a shower is about the most water pressure you want on this watch. Swimming with it could put more on it and get in the watch. -I wore it in a lazy river and kept my wrist above the water most of the time, and swam a little bit. Air on the side of caution is all i’d say.

This is a huge improvement over my AltaHR! Waterproof, Bright screen that I can actually read during the day and a huge range of free watch faces to show only the information you are interested in. Based on other reviews, I made sure I got vinyl covers to protect it from scratches. These are inexpensive and allow you to add some fun flare to your watch – mix and match to suit your wardrobe. The SPO2 monitor can identify high variations in oxygen during sleep. The alarm and timer apps are especially useful and the “smart wake” feature is really nice. Sure, I can’t take calls on my smartwatch or send texts, but I wouldn’t want to anyway. I really wanted it for sleep tracking (one of the best wearables on the market for this), step counts and HR monitor during exercise. The timer and alarm functions are an added bonus. For the price it’s an amazingly powerful device!

I already have a Fitbit Versa but bought this one for my partner who didn’t need the payment option. She is happily using it for 4 months now. Great watch, durable for everyday use and a nice upgrade to the regular Fitbit band.

Received this product a couple of weeks ago and really like it. Wish it counted stairs like the other ones though. Only issues I had was updating the firmware, but that was an app issue I believe.
