Reliable GPS
I bought this GPS for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. The 7” high-resolution screen is bright, clear, and easy to see while driving, and the touch response is very smooth. The maps are accurate, and the truck-specific routing has been great for avoiding low bridges, weight limits, and tight roads. The built-in dash cam is a huge bonus and gives him extra peace of mind on the road. The voice prompts and alerts are loud and clear without being annoying, and the menus are simple to navigate. Setup was quick, and he was able to start using it right away.Overall, this is a reliable, easy-to-use GPS that’s perfect for professional drivers. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Quality GPS
The screen size is perfect for me. I can see the map clearly, yet it doesn’t take up too much window space. I like the split screen features showing details of your turns. Definitely worth the money.

Reliable and Driver Friendly- A must have for Truckers!
My husband is a professional truck driver and uses the Garmin dezl OTR720 every day. It’s been an absolute game-changer for him on the road. The large 7” screen is easy to read, even at a glance, and the truck-specific routing has helped him avoid low bridges, weight restrictions, and tight turns. It updates traffic and weather in real-time, which helps him plan better and avoid delays. He loves that it even tracks driving hours and suggests break stops. This GPS gives us both peace of mind knowing he has a reliable, accurate guide during every haul. Highly recommended!

My take on the Garmin OTR720
This is a pretty good GPS, but it’s not quite as good as the older models. I do like the satellite view of your destination, but I miss the rest area and truck stops showing as you come up on them.

After A Few Months Of use it started restarting it self out of no where while using it making me getting lost or missing an exit every time I go to a new place.

Great, if you want to go the safest, slowest, dumbest way possible!
This unit is great if you want to go the safest, slowest, dumbest way possible! Seriously! It’ doesn’t reroute around traffic , But will take you into slowdowns! I.E. the I 95 split in New jersey. And don’t get me started on how I enter addresses and it’ll comeback with “no such address exists”. But google, and TP will find it spelled wrong. the diezl app is worthless. I have no clue what it does! And if you are colorblind good luck decerning the route it’s taking you on from streets around you. every time you turn the truck off and start it back up you have to reenter navigation from the home screen. Oh, no route preview to make sure it’s taking you where you want to go. like two days ago where it made me backtrack to the NYS thruway from A stop in Canandaigua instead of forward travel along A state route to the thruway. Again, A route preview would have saved me the 10 minutes of backward progress. I finished the day with 10 minutes left on drivetime.

been using this GPS for the last few months and it has been great. I like the fact that you can add vehicles of various size and also buses… So far the routing has been 100% spot on.

I’ve had this Garmin for about 2 months now and I was happy with it right up until recently. After one particular update all of a sudden it would stop calculating out stocks. It wouldn’t show what truck stops are coming up next it would show truck stops at work 800 miles away. I contacted garmin’s customer support to try to find Solutions I did what they suggested and now the dash cam on it no longer works it shows that it’s recording but the camera is just recording blackness and nothing is blocking the camera. I’ll be asking Garmin for a refund or replacement
