A good bag that holds up to moderate abuse
I’ve been using this 50L black and blue gym duffel for hauling my climbing gear, and it’s proven to be a pretty good mix of space, function, and toughness. The material feels like a heavy polyester—something close to 900D—and it’s got that water-resistant coating that helps shed light rain or sweat from wet ropes. The stitching is solid, and the seams haven’t pulled even when the bag’s packed tight with harnesses, carabiners, and shoes. The bottom is reinforced, but I’ve noticed some scuffing from setting it down on rocky surfaces, which is par for the course when you’re outdoors. The zippers are two-way on the main compartment, which makes it easier to dig through gear without unpacking everything. They’re not buttery smooth under heavy load, but they’ve held up well so far without snags or splits. The zippers on the smaller compartments take a little coaxing when the bag is stuffed full, but they haven’t failed. In backpack mode, the shoulder straps have just enough padding for moderate loads. For carrying from the car to a climbing site, it’s comfortable and stable, but it’s not the kind of suspension you’d want for long treks. There’s no real hip belt or sternum strap, so the load stays mostly on your shoulders. After a while, especially if the bag’s fully packed, you’ll start to feel it. Still, being able to switch between duffel, shoulder, and backpack carry options is handy when you’re juggling ropes and helmets.I like the layout of the compartments. There’s a ventilated shoe pocket that works well for climbing shoes or anything grimy you want to keep separate, and a wet pocket that’s actually useful for damp clothes or towels. The main compartment is roomy enough to swallow a full climbing setup and still have space for snacks or a change of clothes. The mesh pockets inside help keep smaller items from vanishing into the depths. At 50 liters, it’s a good in-between size—large enough for a weekend trip but not so bulky that it becomes a chore to carry. If there’s a trade-off, it’s that the comfort and organization are better suited to short hauls or car-based trips than long backpacking routes. The fabric will show some wear from abrasion and salt if you use it around sand or rocks, so rinsing it off once in a while is worth the effort. All in all, it’s a solid, well-thought-out bag that handles climbing gear, gym use, or quick getaways without complaint. I’d just keep in mind that the zippers and straps, while good, aren’t built for mountaineering-grade abuse.

Well Made, Very Useful Features, Versatile, Adaptable
I am always a little skeptical of anything labeled “tactical.” It’s usually a marketing gimmick, aimed at wanna-be tough guys and virtual jungle explorers who ate comoensating for something. (I mean who really needs a tactical lunchbox, or tactical Q-tips, both products that are available,) In this case, I’m happy to say that the so=called tactical bag features were actually functional and not excessive — and it does not come in camo.Indeed, it is a really excellent bag, and the only really “tactial” tchotchkes are the loop spaces which would allow you to attach a hookback patch — such as a name tag or a blood type or something else — very easily. (It comes with a blacked-out American flag patch which I have promptly put in a drawer) . And the several molle loops on the exterior are acually functional for small clip on items — or even the odd extra bag or accessory with appropriate straps.SO here are two positive “strikes” already: The tactical features aren’t very annoying, and the patch spots and loops can actually be used. The rest of the bag is very well thought out, and comes with a tremendous number of features. The end opening section for shoes or something else that you want to keep separate from your main compartment is very convenient. There are pockets galore, zippered omes on the inside and meshed so you can see what’s in them, multiple zippered pockets on the outside, a mesh pocket for quick access items, and a separate sealed up segment which appears to be waterproof. (The lisitn says it is.) And since the waterproofing’s on the inside of the posket it would be just the place to dump a wet bathing suit, damp beach towel, or the special vaccines you need to keep on blue ice packs. (Note, although the bag is quite thick the waterproof section does not appear to be particularly more insulated than others). My other half was particularly pleased with the bungie-style tie down straps, as a place to slip a jacket or honestly a bedroll, or other soft add-ons. Whereass I appreciated that you could attach carrying straps and handles to just about any corner of the bag for shoulder carry, *and* there was a hand carry handle, *and two hidden straps that come out and let you wear it like a backpack. You’re not going to hike the Pacific Crest (or any) trail with this as a backpack, but trying to get through an airport it leaves both your hands free for passports and coffee — and the sort of SpecOps needed to find a plug for a laptop near an unoccipied seat.Tactical jokes aside, it is very well made, very well thought out, and the solid dark blue color is quite rich and attractive. Worth it, despite being described as “tactical.”

A great weekend bag packed with useful features..
This BISKLNDN “Gym Bag” is a great choice to not only get your gear to your game/gym, but makes an AWESONE weekend getaway bag!It definitely checks all the boxes for your typical “Gym Bag”. Lots of room for gear, separate compartment for your shoes and loads of accessory storage.Where this bag shines is its perfect airport “carry on” proportions, multiple methods of carry, tons of use specific storage areas, ease of access, padded laptop storage and room for exterior molle accessories. The party piece that makes this bag so versatile is the hidable backpack straps that zip away in their own storage spot when not in use. They’re nicely padded with vented material on the underside that make carrying it through the airport and your flights narrow aisle with ease. The metal zipper pulls with their installed ballistic nylon pulls and shielded zipper teeth make access quick and easy while keeping rain and debris out of them and your bag.Molle rails and exterior bungee cords allow the addition of accessories with Molle mounts and the option of strapping items securely to the bag an added bonus that make this bag an MVP for the price it’s offered at.It’s a great bag with a ton of utility whether you’re going to work out or catch a flight for a weekend getaway.
