Halo Headband

Halo Headband is a high quality sweatband manufacturer located in San Diego, California since 2001.

A proven sweat control system that redirects sweat away from your eyes. The proprietary SweatSeal with Grip Technology is what separates us from the competition. The SweatSeal continually redirects sweat away from your eyes, face and glasses. The Grip Technology prevents the sweatband from slipping. The sweatband can also be used to keep your hair away from your face. Halo Headbands absorb, wick and redirect sweat.

How did we get our start?

We are mountain bikers and we couldn’t find a product that kept the sweat and sunscreen out of our face and glasses. Not only was it painful, but dangerous!

What makes our products unique?

This isn’t a fashion headband, although they look good! It both absorbs and redirects, simply like no other headband on the market-that is how we got our patent.

Why do we love what we do?

SInce 2001 we have been making high quality headbands right here in the USA. We love our hardworking employees, dedicated customers and truly believe we have the best headband on the market.

Comfortable and Effective Sweatband for Helmet Use
The Halo Headband II Sweatband works really well while biking with a helmet. It stays in place, absorbs sweat effectively, and helps prevent sweat from dripping into the eyes during long rides. The material feels soft and breathable, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods without irritation. It also fits snugly under a helmet without adding bulk, which is a huge plus for cycling.Overall, this sweatband is practical, durable, and ideal for anyone who wants to stay dry and focused while biking or engaging in other helmeted sports.

    Best piece of kit
This is probably one of the best pieces of my cycling kit. Works absolutely amazing. No sweat in eyes or dripping down sunglasses. Won’t ride without it, will probably buy a few more.

    Comfortable to wear
I think these are great for working outside in the summer. They keep sweat out of my eyes. Also easy to wash.

Works Well in Most Cases but OK in my Situation
These bands may do well as advertised, but I need an “industrial” model for my situation. I live in the deep South, where it’s either 85 degrees and 90 percent humidity or 90 degrees and 85 percent humidity. Drinking one to two gallons of water over the course of five hours is common for me. Maybe my situation is unique, but here are my opinions. The Halo’s “sweat seal” is too short, allowing sweat to run into my eyes from the sides. The small 1/8 inch piece of material below the seal quickly becomes saturated, also allowing sweat into my eyes.Despite the shortcomings, the Halo band is the best solution I’ve found for keeping my eyes free from sweat.I would like to see a model that has a longer “sweat seal” to move sweat further away from my eyes and the seal closer to the bottom of the band.

No more sweat in my eyes!
Favorite headband for running so far. I have tried Sweaty Band, Bondi Band, and although they soak up some sweat, once they are saturated in a short time, sweat starts running down my face into my eyes. Sweat and sunscreen burning your eyes while running is not fun. I have worn this band for 2 runs and it worked perfectly. I have a small head and I was worried because this band looked small. It was the perfect size. I run in 90 degree, 90% humidity weather. This band absorbed so much sweat. It didn’t slip, and it kept the sweat out of my eyes. I just ordered 2 more!

    Thin But Mighty
If you get these headbands out of the package, you’re going to think that they’re too thin to get the job done. I know I did. I have been using somewhat thicker ones that are made out of a similar material, and they get saturated and allow sweat to start dripping in my eyes if I don’t wring them out during long rides. These, however, have done as advertised. I’ve been on some sweat-inducing rides, and so far they are very good at channeling the sweat out of my eyes. Being light weight, they also allow my helmet to fit comfortably. They dry quickly after the ride, too.

Pricey sweatbad that works…til it fails.
I used my Halo headbands for running. They work better at keeping sweat from my eyes than standard terry cloth ot other bands. On a hot humid days I still can get sweat in the eyes around miles 3-6.You pay a premium for these bands so I was very disappointed a few years ago when the silicone fell off the black one and now the red one is failing hence the 3 stars. Lots of designs, comfortable enough, work okay, I like them for the most part but what’s the point at this price if they fall apart?

Conditions: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Mid-March night running, 30-45 minutes. (28-34 Celcius, 20% humidity).PRO:Does the job well of soaking and diverting sweat way from the face. You will see how effective it is once you take it off after the run. Remember to wash it immediately.CON:It is not very comfortable to wear.
