Excellent value blocks
There are only a few different kinds of yoga blocks. These are the same material as the foam blocks you’d by at Target or see in most studios. They’re made of EVA which is a “nontoxic” and recyclable foam. So on the face of them, they’re green or greeinsh.When you open the package you’ll find that the blocks are all individually packaged. This could be good for a studio because people like to have things individually packaged so they feel new. But, they stink to high heaven for a while after you open the package. They need to air out. Perhaps the best place for them on their first run is for yoga in the park/outside until the smell dissipates.However you choose to keep them, they’re pretty standard yoga blocks. They have chamfered edges and same dimensions as both my cork and foam yoga blocks. They are alot lighter than my cork blocks. This can be good or bad depending on your needs. If weight is an issue for you when hauling them around then you’ll appreciate the foam. Foam squishes a little whereas cork doesn’t squish much at all.I see these as a really good set for a new teacher/studio looking to fill out their shelves and loaner equipment because they are less than half the unit price of buying them from a big box store at 30 for $99.

Why I got a 30 piece set of yoga blocks? I have no idea lol. These blocks are great for not only yoga, but stretching overall. They can be placed underneath your arms, elbows, knees, legs, etc when stretching. You can stack them if trying to learn to do splits. The options of use are really unlimited, with so many. The blocks are made out of foam, so I assume they’ll need to be replaced ever so often, which makes having a huge amount not so crazy afterall lol. Would be a good gift or purchase for a gym owner or personal trainer.
