Most comfortable, longest lasting shoes.
I only buy New Balance athletic shoes, and only the ones with Rollbar construction. I’m a big guy and even after gastric surgery I weigh more than average (to put it nicely), on top of which I have fallen arches and ankles that are are kinda skewed to one side. Other brands of shoes that I’ve tried start out comfortable and solid, but soon start to break down. I always know when my shoes are past their sell-by date when I begin developing callouses on my big toes. The New Balance Rollbar does the best job of maintaining their integrity for me. New Balance shoes are also very comfortable and size correct (16M in my case). I like the fact that the uppers on this model are leather, with the exception of the tongue which is nylon. I like the looks, too. I find that they do squeak with my orthotics in place (GoodfeetStore brand), but a dryer sheet or under the orthotics eliminates any embarrassing noises. Best, most long-lasting shoes I’ve ever had.

Works Great!
Great work shoes. Workplace requires black shoes while in the uniform. These are very comfortable and last a long time. I’ve purchased then before and will buy them again.

Good Stability and Large Sizes
There is usually not much of a selection when you wear size 16W shoes, but New Balance on Amazon is one of the few brands that carry them. My previous pair of cross trainers were the 600 NB series, but the podiatrist recommended the 857 for a little more side support. They are just as comfortable as my old ones and give me a little more stability for walking. Good sneaker choice for an everyday wear shoe.

Finally, a REAL pair of WIDE shoes (6E) that don’t look like “clown shoes!”
I’ve been a New Balance shoe buyer/wearer since sometime in the late 1990s. I’ve been a consistent 9 4E shoe size since the early 90s. Unfortunately, with age and changing health, I can no longer fit into that size and now require a 9 6E. It took me a while to find a pair of shoes that I liked and had a price point I was willing to spend (lol), but I found it when I ordered this style of New Balance shoes. While I do think they are a bit skimpy on the padding (the major reason I gave four stars instead of five), they seem to fit well, and I bought them when they were “on sale” for $94.99 – and a “sale” usually helps me better accept that things cost more now than in the 1990s (wink). I can say that I recommend these shoes and will, most likely, purchase another pair sometime down the road. I have no complaints about this seller. Thanks for reading. —TMS.

Tongue too narrow.
Very good comfortable shoes. Tongue of the shoe is too narrow at the top and not long enough. So you have to keep pulling the tongue up while trying to get the shoes on. Which is an unnecessary hassle. I ordered the white. Thought about purchasing 2nd pair and checked tonight and they only had them in black. So didn’t order the black.

Quality shoe but soles wear out and too expensive
Quality shoe. Good fit, comfortable, seems durable at the start but doesn’t take too long for the soles to wear out. Not worth that kind of money, $140 is too much for a sneaker that lasts only 6 to 10 months or so
