Perfect for My Needs!
I am super happy with this platform step! I was able to assemble it by myself quickly and easily. It is super sturdy. I have a portable steam room set up in my garage, and I use these steps at the entrance. It is absolutely perfect for that, and it is also exactly the right size. It is waterproof, so it is ideal to stand on while toweling off after exiting the steam room. We have been using it for several weeks, and it has held up very well so far. It also looks really nice!

Good and solid, but seems overpriced
This is a totally fine step — nice and solid (i.e., I didn’t think for a moment it wouldn’t hold my weight), and useful for adding that little extra step to help someone get inside after, as in my case, knee surgery.Assembly is super easy. If you have a power screwdriver the whole thing should take about 10 minutes, plus another 10 to unpack everything first. But it’s just a bunch of screws and you barely need the instructions.The quality is good — it will definitely hold weight, and it feels solid. I’ll admit that I’m using it indoors (despite the pics), so I can’t speak to how it handles weather. I did find some minor issues: loose nails, slightly uneven boards. Nothing major, though.The height is perfect — about half the height of a typical stair. And it’s got a non-slip bottom that works just fine, at least indoors.All that said, it feels like it should be a $35 or $40 product, because it’s so simple. It’s just wood, after all, and there aren’t any specialty or moving parts. But it certainly does the job.

Buy something else unless your handy with repairing brand new items
The pic was taken right out of the box. Cheap manufacturing. Useless instructions. Glue and staples did not hold. Packaging was fine. Obvious manufacturing problem. Whoever built it did not care. Good price, now I see why. I’ll fix it myself and not retirn it, but won’t buy from these folks again.

I’m just going to say this is complete BS. It specifically says no assembly required. It specifically DOESN’T say that this comes in three pieces and DOES NOT attached to each other. If you are looking for one solid piece for a step for an elderly person, this is absolutely not for you.I am not returning it because I am using this as a learning vehicle for me to not believe ANYTHING I read on Amazon.

Listing implies that this comes as one piece — it does not
So, this little wood “half-step” is fine once you’ve got it all put together, but that fact that there’s a “putting it together” requirement at all came as a surprise, as the listing had led me to believe that it came complete in one unit. In fact, it comes in six parts with a bunch of wood screws. You need to screw the three main “step” units together and then screw on three facing pieces. It’s not wildly laborious or anything and once everything is assembled, the unit feels sturdy enough and does what it was advertised to do (provide “half-height” step to people who might need it).As it turns out, it is also quite handy in the unexpected use to which I have put it: serving (unassembled) as a convenient set of support platforms for use with my bike rollers (see photo)!

Elegant and Multiple Usage
This is a multi-use step that is made of very durable and strong wood. Once you assemble the pieces with screws it becomes a very sturdy step that you can use numerous places in the home or outdoors. Assembly is very easy and I was able to assemble the step in under a half hour. It is a great step for seniors that are afraid of falling. You can use it in the bathroom as a step for getting out of the tub/shower. You can use it at your bedside if your bed sits up high. It is good for small pets as well or pets with hi issues to get up on couches or beds. The step is aesthetically lovely with a beautiful woodgrain finish. It actually looks very elegant and could be used in a high-end spa setting. I definitely give this step my highest recommendations for usage, aesthetics and design.

Love it but longevity might be an issue
This wood step is exactly what I needed for my back door. We have two Scotty dogs, and the dog door was placed in our door when we moved in, and it is more for taller dogs like Labs and such. This step raised the drop on the outside of the door to a more accommodating drop for my smallest scotty. It is the perfect width for our door and is safe and comfortable for us humans to use as well. I love the material as it looks very nice and like it is very good quality wood. We keep it out during all seasons, so this has definitely had rain, snow and sun on it. It is a great weight, so it stays where it needs to be or can be easily picked up and moved out of the way. I will say that this is my second one of these steps as I purchased this exact same step; same manufacture and all on Jan 8, 2025, and we are replacing this step on 07/22/25 (it does say this is an upgraded version) because the pin nails on one of the outside parts is coming apart. Yes, we will probably just screw it back on and keep the other one as a spare but still just under 7 months of use and it is already starting to come apart makes it so that I feel I can say that the longevity of this step may not equal the cost to purchase it, which is why I gave it 4 stars. It was easy to put together.
