Sturdy and durable, easy to carry
Mixed up a couple batches of sangria and needed a safe and easy way to transport them to a friends house. These arrived and I was happy to see that they were very sturdy and easy to pour from. They hold a lot more than it looks like they can and they sit together on a shelf very well. Would recommend.

I bought these to make my uncle batches of homemade sangria in. He lives in Tennessee and I in California and we met up in Las Vegas, so I’d made him batches of my homemade Sangria to take back home. These have the wide mouth so that peaches, apples, strawberries, berries and grapes can all be fished out and ate or poured in the glass with the Sangria. The durability was amazing as it contained the Sangria well without any leaking as my uncle packed one in his suitcase and took it back home to Tennessee and it made it there safe and sound which was amazing considering the people at the airport slinging your luggage around so ferociously and it still managed to make it back to Tennessee and my uncle was able to enjoy his Sangria in his own home.! The design with the handle makes it so easy to pour. Therefore, I can comfortably say that I would recommend these to purchase, especially if you’re going to use them for the same purpose as did I. Get it!! You won’t regret it!I hope this was helpful. I take my time to write these reviews. I wished I knew whether they were helpful or not, but I do them anyway. As I rely on other people’s reviews to help me in making my buying decisions to purchase items online as it has become the way of life now. But it’s important to read these as you are not able to physically be there to ascertain in person whether these would fit your purpose or not. So, that’s why I’m writing this and hopefully my experience will help you decide whether you should buy them or not. Works as described.
These are great jugs. The same kind large amounts of spices are sold in by people like Sysco or USFoods. They cannot get hot. Put hot water in and it started to melt. There is no warning in the description. So Warning!!– don’t put anything hot in them.

We thought these would be perfect for sun-tea. The manufacturer states that these are food grade, shatter-proof, pour easily and have leak-proof caps. Would have been perfect, but…The first time we made a gallon of tea and went to pour some into a glass we found that the lip does not allow for easy pouring. The tea ran back down the bottle and all over the counter. Next try, we did this in the sink and tried to pour quickly. Still lost some tea.Next, one of the bottles seems to have mis-formed threads and neither lid will screw on snugly.Today, we went to bring in the jug of tea and it started leaking. We discovered the handle has cracked along the side, not on a seam. Thank goodness it wasn’t holding paint or chemicals.These may be great for storing dry goods, but not for liquids based upon our experience.UPDATE 8/20!2022: The second jug failed today. We filled it with water, to make sun tea, and it started leaking from the handle area. So very disappointing. We bought these June 17, 2022.
